see DVD fab provide a detailed list of all the encryptions found on a particular disc

As a curious geek I'd like to know which of my DVD's have what levels of copy protection on them. The ability to remove it is excellent, but it would still be cool to know.

have the option having the dvds copied, to be loaded into a hard drive library. That way I could watch the movie on my computer without having to load in the copied disk. The copied disk would be used for my home system.

Be able to easily merge 2 minidiscs into one disc. It does it but I feel like I dont have much control over it. Plus in the compression settings it would really be nice to choose compression levels on main movie in contrast to special features.

When creating backups I would like to have the whole movie with special features but I only backup on single layer discs. If I could choose to make special features more compressed in order to preserve the quality of my main feature, it could help...

Be able to back up old copy protected VHS to DVD so they don't degrade any further.

I have a number of old VHS movies that cannot be found on DVD, but they are copy protected. Can't recall the protection scheme name, but I'd like to remove that scheme and back these VHS up to DVD to prevent further degradation.

Suggest that the program perform a 'nibble copy,' that is a sector by sector copy to make sure that the original and the copy were completely identical.

Sector by sector copying would allow one to be sure that there were absolutely no difference(s) between the source and target discs.

Have more control of editing the opening & closing credits

Hopefully not duplicated! DVD Fab only allows editing (deleting) of entire Chapters, which is not really useful. What is required is the ability to set CUT marks so that the credits or even partial credits can be deleted on large file sizes....

In Customize, there should be an option to select the video quality compression ( higher the compression,File Size,Quality will be less for same )

in customize option, if there is an option to compress the video quality in terms of percentage, then user can select this option based on the file size and quality needed
