Does this software also burn DVD's, or is it just a ripper. The Full Copy option under DVD Copy implies that it will rip, then burn a duplicate DVD. However, that option just rips the DVD and then acts like it's done.

have a sector by sector function to recover scratched disc content

When a disc is unreadable, there are often times that the data can be mostly recovered with little loss (only a few frames) if a sector function is used. I have used this multiple times with other programs and saved a bunch of discs and movies....

see when copying a DVD, intelligent splitting of the content into chapters. Not just based on pause but also using a check of drastic scene change and lighting change.

Our home movies are copied from tapes to DVDs. I would like to break them into chapters as we did use the same tape to video birthdays and other stuff. Now even in a birthday, we did use pauses and transitions. So, using just a pause will break a...

Be ablt to copy movies to those little USB Memory sticks so that you can take them with you if you travel, and they would be easier and smaller than a DVD to carry around

Consolidate core aspects of the Fengtao software (eg DVD copy, BR copy Bluray to DVD all in one package). The cost of all pakages is prohibitive. Lower the cost and make it up in volume!

finding more and more DVD's which don't follow the numerical file order when they run. So if you just copy the movie you don't get the whole movie. A feature to list the play order on the disc would help sort these out.

Have the ability to set the compression rate (somewhere between DVD9 and DVD5). Sometimes the main movie may be a bit too big for a standard DVD, but switching to DVD5 compresses the file too much! Great product, keep up the good work. Thanks!

See a playback of the copied DVD if its functioning of the original copy to be played on any DVD players before burning on a regular blank DVD. Mike Youngbood

When the DVD Fab is done copying give a message if they want to view the copied DVD to see if it does function like the original before burning it to a regular blank DVD for best results.

I get DVDs from friends in other regions, especially Regions two and eight. How about incorporating a strip away of the region codes at the same time as the copy is being made and I can play them all here in region one.
